Roger: I was wondering when someone would mention the bearded baby! I've long fallen on the "dwarf chicks with beards" side of the divide, but the idea of dwarves being BORN with beards--brilliant.
It's a Dwarf Fortress meme that female dwarven warriors go into battle carrying their young - because women carry their young in that game and there aren't other rules to prevent it. Because of that alone I suspect this was drawn by someone as a DF fan-art. Maybe that helps a little toward identifying the artist?
